Those darn out of print Gwar videos, No I don't have them

I think some people on here have videos like TVD etc, Gwar releases that have been long out of print and will most likely never be reissued. If you have one (or more) and you're up for it, I'm willing to slap those bad boys on a dvd and upload them like I did with Return of Techno Destructo.

So far I've been offered TVD, Next Mutation, Surprising burst of chocolatey fudge and a bootleg from 1988.
The process is simply using a VCR/DVD combi with an internal harddrive, copying the tape to the drive and then onto a DVD.
I really want to put in a little screen at the beginning that says this is for free distribution only and that if you paid money for it you were ripped off, to hopefully prevent them from being sold on ebay like with Return of Techno Destructo. Does anyone know how to do this?

I have no idea about shit like that, but I imagine you'd have to find a way to connect the VCR/DVD player to a computer. If that's the case, you'll probably need some kinda software. Again, I could just be talking outta my ass.

When you rip what is the video file?
If its something compatible with WMM or Adobe Premiere its fairly easy, but if not I dont really know.
Ive messed around with editing video a lot, but Ive never ripped any VHS stuff so I really dont know.

Speaking of the Techno Destructo video, I just realized that my laptop has no DVD burner. Sooo... if I want to put it on a DVD rather than just watch it on my computer, is there anything I can do besides download it on a different computer?

Ask someone on here nicely to burn it for you. I'd suggest keeping the image anyway as DVD-rs tend to rot. When you burn it, burn it at 1x speed.

I have no idea what the video file type is. I'll ask my dad as he's done some editing with it apparently.

TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 is the answer to all my dvd editing needs including menu options.

I am sure that if you would put something in there like that...someone can take it out if they wanted to.
